Let’s face it, museums can be boring sometimes.
How many times can we look at plater re-creations of dinosaur bones and old rocks that were once part of some bigger older rock structure? If you are looking for a museum that won’t put you to sleep, then maybe you should visit one of the museums on my Top Ten Unique Museums list. These museums are informative, hilarious, quirky and unusual.
10. Museum of Bad Art
Brooklyn’s Museum of Bad Art is dedicated to “the labor of artists who would be appreciated in no other forum”. It features some of the most technically and conceptually flawed art every produced. Interestingly enough, many visitors claim that there were at least a couple of pieces that they consider to be quite beautiful.
9. The International Spy Museum
The International Spy Museum in (where else) Washington, D.C. is dedicated to the preservation of artifacts and curios related to espionage of all kinds. This museum is likely to be one the most exciting you will ever visit with displays relating to everything from MI-6 to the Cold War.

The Museum of Broken Relationships in LA is a lot more fun than it sounds. It features artifacts and stories from a plethora of interesting failed relationships. These stories are sometimes heartbreaking, but also quite fascinating.
