When you met her, you thought she might be the one.
And you’ve had some great times together. You’re ready to show your love even more … or to declare it for the first time.
But somehow things just aren’t progressing the way you’d hoped. Maybe it feels like you’re stalled and just spinning your wheels. Or perhaps things feel like they’re slipping.
It might be just a temporary setback. Or maybe this is the right one for you. Check out this top 10 tips that she’s just not that into you, and decide for yourself.
10. She’s talking about the future, but you’re not in it
Listen when she talks about the future. Is there a mention of “we” or “us”, or is it more about “me” and “I”?
If the relationship is new, it’s probably not a concern. But if you’ve been together for awhile, it could mean she’s picturing the future without you in it.
9. She’s making excuses to avoid spending time together
Everyone needs their space, but when the time apart starts dwarfing the time together, it’s time to take a hard look at what’s going on.
8. She’s forgetting about plans you’ve made together
Sure everyone forgets a date or plan now and again, but if it’s happening a lot consider it a warning. If your plans together aren’t important enough to remember, odds are you’re not at the top of the list either.
7. She’s talking to friends about you … and it’s not good
If you’re hearing stories from mutual friends about your messy closet or bad habits, get ready to move on.
When a woman starts sharing your faults with friends, she’s probably looking for support for the breakup. Yup, the one SHE’S planning.
Clear enough?
6. She puts on make-up … but not for you
If your sweetie has suddenly gone au natural, leaving the mascara and lipstick in her purse instead of putting it on, watch out.
If she puts it on for everyone except you, it’s time to have a serious talk. It could be that she’s just getting a bit too comfortable and just needs a wake up call. But it could be that you’re not worth the effort any more in her book.
5. Liar, liar pants on fire
She says she’s hanging out to home tonight, and then you hear she’s out on the town. She claims her mom needs help to prepare for the garage sale, then a friend mentions he saw her at the beach.
When the lying starts, it’s time to accept the inevitable and move on.
4. She sidesteps conversations about your relationship
Okay, assuming that you’ve been together for awhile, it’s only natural to start talking about the next step. And for most women, it’s a wonderful part of the growing relationship.
So if she keeps changing the subject, consider it a warning that she’s probably just not that into you.
3. She starts talking about other guys
Yes, she’s bound to have male friends. And odds are she’s going to notice a cute guy now and then.
But if she starts including lots of talk about how the guy at the office is looking so great since he started working out, or describing the cute guy on the Metro, run for cover. Or better yet, run for a new life without her in it.
2. It’s all about me
In a good relationship, there will be things you love to do together, things he loves to do and things you love to do.
But if she’s not that into you, odds are the only things she’ll want to do are the things she loves to do. Take that as a big hint … people who love someone want to make them happy. By ignoring the things you love to do, she’s telling you that you really don’t matter. Is that what you want?
