Faith is a powerful concept that refers to the beliefs we have in someone or something.
More specifically, faith may be described as having complete trust in someone or thing; additionally faith typically refers to a strong belief in God, religion or other spiritual system or being. Regardless of who or what you believe in, having faith in something can raise you up to a higher level, increase your spirit and confidence and help you strive to be a better person.
Consider the following top ten expressions of faith the next time you are feeling sad, doubtful or lost in life.
10. Miracles
The acclaimed Christmas movie “Miracle on 34th Street” used the expression that “Faith is believing in something when common sense tells you not to.” Believing in miracles is a way to show the world…and yourself…that you are a person of strong faith.
9. Martin Luther King Jr.
Among King’s remarkable words and speeches included many expressions of faith such as “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Dr. King expressed what many considered to be an unreasonable faith that skin color wouldn’t be an issue in the future. Thanks to his faith, and that of others who shared it, much of what he once imaged has come true.

The faithful expression “Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there” gives hope and faith to people facing what appears to be an insurmountable obstacle or a situation with no possible solution.
