One of the most entertaining parts of taking a vacation is hitting all the best shopping venues no matter where you are.
When heading down to Missouri, shopping in St. Louis is just as fun and the city has gone out of its way to make sure there are plenty of top places to spend your money. Without further ado, the top ten Saint Louis Shopping Experiences.
10. Laclede’s Landing
Lacledede’s Landing is not only one of the best Saint Louis shopping experiences around but it also has quite a bit of history dedicated to it. The Missouri state legislature first convened there in 1820. Now you can walk along the riverfront and get in some great shopping.
9. The Loop
This six block section of shopping extravaganza is one of the most popular shopping centers in all of Missouri. This particular shopping area even has a “walk of fame” for tourists who want an extra touch.
8. The Boulevard
The Boulevard is an upscale shopping experience that allows you to enjoy several different restaurants and shops in a small little area. One of the best the city has to offer.
7. Brentwood Square
This shopping area was originally erected in 1950 and features stores like Nordtrom’s, Arhaus, Michael’s and AT&T. Not the biggest shopping area on the list but well kept up and recognized as one of the better ones in the city.
6. Saint Louis Galleria
One of the best indoor malls in the Midwest, the Galleria boasts a wide range of different high end stores. A person could spend an entire day shopping to their heart’s content and then catch a movie at the plush theater as they relax.
5. The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis
The Meadows is a beautiful shopping experience that allows people to walk around the lake while they hit some of the best stores in Saint Louis. Among their 40 stores, the Meadows currently offers the only Von Maur department store in the city.
4. Osage Beach Premium Outlets
While there are certainly fancier stores than the ones offered at Osage, you aren’t going to find many better prices. This outdoor, outlet mall isn’t too hard on the eyes either. Most outlet malls are given some basic layouts and warehouse style buildings, but Osage was given a prettier façade. Just another reason to check the place out when the shopping bug bites.
3. Plaza Frontenac
Another indoor mall with an upscale feel that should be a stopping shop for anyone visiting St. Louis. The jewel in this shopping center’s crown is the Neiman Marcus store that also includes the restaurant the Zodiac. Many other restaurants and cafes are housed at the Frontenac.
2. Westport Plaza
The Westport plaza is a high end outdoor shopping mall that provides lots of great shops to browse through while also taking in the sights of a great looking shopping village. The Plaza is a place you can not only eat and shop and hang out in but there are several hotels you can stay, making sure you can pick up where you left off the next day. Concerts, festivals and a wide range of outdoor entertainment are always going on in the Westport Plaza, making this much more than simply a shopping excursion.

The Midrivers Mall is awesome in its simplicity. Another indoor mall that caters to all kinds of shoppers with all kinds of needs. The Midrivers offers a nice food court and a great movie theater if you really want to make a day of it.
