Apple Upside Down Cake
Ingredients:
2 21-ounce cans of apple pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
® cup butter, melted
Directions:
1. Pour pie filling into a 9×13-inch cake pan.
2. Sprinkle the cake mix over the pie filling.
3. Drizzle with melted butter, stirring slightly to moisten the cake mix.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Fruity Cream Cake
Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 11-ounce can mandarin orange slices
1 15-ounce can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 12-ounce container Cool Whip, thawed
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix cake mix with eggs and orange slices, beating at medium speed for two or three minutes.
3. Pour into 9×13-inch pan coated with cooking spray; bake for 30 minutes.
4. While cake is cooling, combine pineapple, Cool Whip and pudding mix.
5. Frost cake after completely cooled. Keep refrigerated.
Butter Cake
Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
® cup butter, melted
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Mix cake mix, melted butter, two eggs and one teaspoon vanilla by hand.
2. Press into 9×13-inch pan.
3. With a mixer, beat two eggs, cream cheese and one teaspoon vanilla.
4. Slowly add powdered sugar to egg and cream cheese mixture.
5. Pour over cake layer.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Mud Cake
Ingredients:
1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 21-ounce can cherry pie filling
1 devil’s food cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
® cup mint chocolate chips
® cup butter, sliced
Directions:
1. Grease and flour a 9×13-inch cake pan.
2. Pour pineapple and juice into the prepared pan, spreading to form the bottom layer.
3. Next spread the cherry filling over the pineapple.
4. Layer the cake mix on top of the fruit.
5. Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips over the cake mix, then distribute the sliced butter evenly over the top.
6. Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Cool and serve.
Earthquake Cake
Ingredients:
1 package devil’s food cake mix with pudding
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 pound powdered sugar
® cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Spray 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
2. Spread coconut and pecans over bottom of pan.
3. Mix cake mix according to the directions on the package and pour over the coconut and pecans.
4. Beat melted butter, cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar in medium bowl until mixed well.
5. Drop cream cheese mixture in teaspoonfuls over cake. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until done.
